己龍 Lucky Bag

Received my Kiryu lucky bag today. Usually, at the beginning of the year, they have bags you can purchase that have random tour goods in them. This year, I was lucky enough to snag one. Not more than 15 minutes after they went on sale, they had already sold out. This one had lots of good stuff in it, but the little towel is something I’ve been wanting the most, so I’m extremely happy to have ended up with it!

Now off to bed. I shall resume with Phantom tomorrow.

Fatty-meow

Now back to Phantom. He demands it.

Face-hugger-kitty is going on a diet soon. If you don’t hear from me soon you can assume that he’s ended me, haha.

Today I received Kiryu’s new live DVD! It’s something I’ve been very eager to watch, so of course I watched it as soon as I could after dinner.

Their concerts are always so interesting and exciting to watch. They always have such fitting and gorgeous stage scenery for their music.

I want to watch it again to give a proper review, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! They’re always fun, so I hope I get a chance to see them at some point, maybe this year if things work out. Annual trip to Japan plans are still kind of up in the air at the moment.

Flower

The florist I bought my hand cream from also gave me a pretty carnation for visiting. It is now sitting on my desk all pretty in a Midori bottle.

And my roommates thought I was weird for washing out and keeping old alcohol bottles. Their carnations are also in Midori bottles, haha. Who needs a vase.

Rosewater

Due to the weather, my hands have been in awful shape, so I finally broke down and bought more hand therapy cream. This stuff is the best for me and it smells lovely. It’s more expensive than I like paying for hand cream, but it’s definitely worth it. My hands thank me.

Nobu’s

Friday, my roomies and I went to Nobu’s, a really good Japanese restaurant here in St. Louis. I haven’t had Japanese food since I came from from Japan in June, so this was quite a treat! I want more!

TARDIS

It’s awesome to have the TARDIS on my desk. (makes the swooshing noise too!)

Pizza All Day

I got treated to pizza at lunch (by work) and then again tonight at dinner. Diet blown for the day, haha.

Now I’ll go join Fatty-meow for sleep and cuddles.

Blarg

Phantom’s expression here best sums up my day. At 2AM, the tornado sirens went off. Luckily, we were fine, but my sleep was ruined and I woke up to get ready for work about 3 hours later with a throbbing headache that lasted nearly all day. It wore off later, but of course not while I was at work. Here’s hoping tomorrow is headache free and siren free!
